It seems like you missed the completely obvious advice here. It cost $10 a year for a domain and maybe $100 a year for hosting for a single site (at most).
She’s likely making at least this in a year so why not just let it ride for a while? Who knows what will come with Google and their algorithmic updates? It’s not like she has to make a decision right now one way or the other about whether to keep investing money in it or get rid of it.
